Making a splash with Active Hope
Active Hope is a charity located close to our Manchester offices. They are a Christian based charity committed to providing exciting outdoor adventures for underprivileged young people, with the aim of building life skills and re-engaging those at risk of isolation.
The grant committee has approved £6,117 for the charity, to purchase two giant SUPs (stand-up paddleboards). Each SUP can hold up to 10 young paddlers at a time, providing a brilliant and fun group experience. These sessions offer young people the opportunity to make connections with others who have shared life experiences, whilst allowing trained instructors to mentor and engage with young people at risk.
